However, Stonebwoy admitted that he and his producer were just having fun with the term and the song’s overall concept.

Stonebwoy recounted how he first encountered the term during his travels to Germany and asked his colleague about its meaning. “When you go to Germany, you’ll see it written on the signage, Apotheke,” he said. “I asked my guy at that time what does this Apotheke even mean? It was a funny word to me.”

The song’s backstory revolves around a fun experience that Stonebwoy and his producer had, leading them to create the uplifting anthem. “Myself and my producer were just having fun, we used ‘Apotheke’ and ‘Ampo Ky3 Ky3’ to represent someone who doesn’t reject anything, it’s a dance song,” he said.

Stonebwoy’s latest album, 5th Dimension, has been well-received by fans and critics alike. The album showcases Stonebwoy’s versatility as an artist and highlights his ability to blend various genres, including reggae, dancehall, and Amapiano.
